This versatile and convenient inspection tool is particularly suitable for components utilised in the automotive and aerospace industries. It efficiently measures cast and stamped metal components made from materials such as aluminium, steel, copper and bronze. Additionally, it is effective for machined workpieces, tubes, chemically milled components, metal plates, plastics and composites, as well as glass. It can also be upgraded to a versatile three-in-one platform functioning as a corrosion thickness gauge, a flaw detector or both.
Building on 75 years of innovation, the Krautkrämer CL Go+ offers a measurement precision of 0.001 mm, ensuring maximum accuracy for common applications. The portable, compact and rugged device comes with an intuitive menu and easy-to-use switch pad control. It also boasts powerful data management capabilities, allowing users to store and analyse inspection data with ease.
The system can be operated in two different modes, depending on the skill level of the inspector, making it a versatile tool for any team.
The device uses advanced techniques and automatic gain control for stable readings under diverse conditions. It optimises accuracy with high-resolution A-scan, gates, finite impulse response upsampling, interpolated zero-cross measurement and various calibration modes.
Additional practical features include a 5" crisp, clear and responsive display for advanced indoor and outdoor visibility, large readouts to help eliminate eye strain and a superior screen-to-body ratio. Its lightweight and single-hand operation make it easy to use, while its ambidextrous design enables left- or right-hand operation. The device is robust enough to be used in a variety of challenging environments, with an IP67 ingress protection rating and a MIL510 military standard testing evaluation.
