Althen expands partnership with Jewell Instruments

UK-based Althen has announced the expansion of its long-standing partnership with Jewell Instruments. With this new agreement, Althen becomes the official Sales Partner for Jewell Instruments in France and the United Kingdom.
The expansion builds on the existing representation of Jewell across Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland.
Jewell is a global specialist in high-precision inertial sensor technology, including accelerometers and inclinometers for tilt, acceleration, vibration and motion measurement. Its portfolio includes force-balance, electrolytic, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and quartz-based technologies for critical applications in rail, aerospace, defence, structural monitoring, industrial systems, mining, oil & gas, renewable energy, geotechnical research and scientific exploration.
Jewell has recently continued to invest in its inertial sensor portfolio. In 2025, the company introduced its Ruby MEMS accelerometers and inclinometers, designed to offer improved resolution, faster frequency response and wider bandwidth in a rugged IP67 package.
Jewell also announced an exclusive distribution partnership with Hoskin Scientific for Canada, further strengthening its international distribution network.
