NDT Level 2 or Level 3 Instructor/Examiner

An opportunity has arisen for an NDT Level 2 or Level 3 Instructor/Examiner to join a specialist training and inspection team based in the Bristol area. This is a varied role combining technical instruction, examination and hands-on non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection, supporting candidates through approved training programmes while also delivering inspection services for customers when required.

Key responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality NDT training courses to internal and external candidates
• Invigilating, examining and marking examinations in line with industry standards
• Supporting training administration, quality requirements and course preparation
• Undertaking NDT inspections across multiple methods at company and customer sites
• Maintaining training equipment, consumables and inspection documentation.

Requirements:

• EN 4179 Level 2 or Level 3 certification in one or more NDT methods (ultrasonic testing (UT), phased array (PA), penetrant testing (PT), magnetic particle testing (MPT) or radiographic testing (RT))
• Evidence of instructional or teaching capability (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
• Must possess a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel occasionally
