Quality Control Site Lead

An experienced quality professional with a strong background in manufacturing, construction or nuclear projects is sought. Boccard UK Ltd is looking for a Quality Control Site Lead to join its team at Hinkley Point C, one of the UK’s most significant nuclear new-build projects. In this role, the successful candidate will lead and develop the quality control team, oversee inspections and lifetime quality records (LTQRs), drive a right-first-time culture and ensure compliance with nuclear quality requirements, welding standards and project specifications.

At Boccard, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a landmark UK infrastructure project while working alongside industry experts in a safety-critical environment where quality is at the heart of everything it does.

Requirements:

• Extensive quality experience within manufacturing, construction or regulated industries
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
• Experience leading quality teams and driving continuous improvement
• Understanding of welding, non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection processes
• Ability to investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Knowledge of nuclear quality requirements and standards (RCC-M, ISO 19443 or nuclear new-build experience is highly desirable).
