Following the very successful introduction of three NDT apprenticeships, the Institute for Apprenticeships (IfA) has given its consent for the development of a condition monitoring (CM) apprenticeship.The development of apprenticeships is employer led, that is to say, employers decide what knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) are included in the apprenticeship.
Establishing an employer groupRoger Lyon, Project Manager, Apprenticeships, BINDT, will deliver a presentation on the CM apprenticeship at the Sixteenth International Conference on Condition Monitoring and Asset Management (CM2019), to be held in The Principal Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, UK, from 10h00-12h30 and 14h30-17h00.
Large and SME employers, training providers and CM professionals from industry and academia should come along and hear how they can benefit from taking on apprentices, upskilling existing staff, gain qualifications and certification and benefit from government funding.
