Surrounded by 22 acres of tranquil parkland just 13 miles from Oxford, Milton Hill House effortlessly blends a graceful Georgian manor house with modern facilities. You'll feel the history the moment you arrive - previous residents include King William 111, Peter the Great and Sir Mortimer Singer of the Singer sewing machine family. The local Abingdon area is a delight to visit. Milton Hill House restaurant serves a delicious great British breakfast with both a hot and cold buffet on offer. We offer delicious seasonally inspired dishes that can be found on our lunch and dinner menus.

The Manor Bar is the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day and offers a selection of fine wines and beers, alongside a menu of comforting pub classics.

The Milton Hill House gym offers a range of training equipment, an indoor heated swimming pool, a hot tub, a steam room and a sauna delivering a peaceful environment for you to unwind and recharge.

The hotel is located within easy reach of Oxford, Reading, Newbury and the Cotswolds. The location makes the hotel a good base from which to explore the Home Counties and Midlands area. Local transport links in the area include Didcot Parkway Station located approximately four miles from the hotel. There are regular services to Oxford Station where there are also services to London Paddington Station and other local and regional areas including Reading, Worcester, Coventry and Birmingham. The hotel is close to major roads including the A4 and within easy reach of both the M40 and M4 motorways providing good road connections.

By car:
Exit M4 at Junction 13, the A34 to Oxford. After 9 miles take the A4185 to Wantage. Go straight over the first and second roundabout. Just after the Packhorse Public House take the left turn (shared entrance with Milton Business and Technology Centre). Take the first left turn into the main drive for Milton Hill House Training Centre. Follow this drive all the way to the Milton Hill House.

Exit M40 at Junction 9 and take the A34 to Newbury. Exit the A34 at the A4130 (Milton Interchange) Junction. Take the fourth exit and follow the A4130 for approximately one mile through one set of traffic lights. Take the right turn after the Farm Shop (shared entrance with Milton Business and Technology Centre). Take the first left turn into the main drive for Milton Hill House Training Centre. Follow this drive all the way to the Milton Hill House.

By bus:
From Oxford, Abingdon or Didcot take the X2 (Oxford Bus Company) to Milton Heights, from where it’s a pleasant 15-minute walk down Trenchard Avenue and Milton Hill.

Alternatively, take the 32 (Thames Travel) to Rowstock Corner and walk for about 15 minutes along the A4130.
