Assisted Defect Recognition

ADRAssisted Defect Recognition is the use of computer algorithms to aid the operator in the detection and characterisation of indications in NDT data. ADR can be applied to ultrasonic, radiographic and eddy current data, as well as the analysis of images such as those from magnetic particle inspection (MPI). ADR software is offered by a number of manufacturers of NDT equipment.
